On December 2nd, 2012, the Village of Allouez Fire Department consolidated with the Green Bay Fire department to create the Green Bay Metro Fire Department. This action by the Village Board, followed several years of research and analysis, resulted in improved service levels and control on service delivery costs. The Village of Allouez receives all services provided by the Green Bay Metro Fire Department.

Request a home safety inspection with the Green Bay Metro Fire Department. As part of their home safety inspection program, they will test all smoke alarms/carbon monoxide detectors and make sure they are working properly, help install new non-hard-wired smoke alarms/carbon monoxide detectors within a home, and talk with you about fire safety. Green Bay Metro Fire Department will assist with providing smoke alarms/carbon monoxide detectors with various community resources that are available.
