2025 Street Reconstruction Projects

Street Reconstruct Projects are scheduled every-other-year with the next being 2025. Due to the age and condition of the pavement and underground public utilities, the Village of Allouez is proposing to reconstruct the following streets:

  • Park Dr.

  • St. Francis Dr. – Langlade Rd. to S. Webster Ave.

  • Crescent Dr. – St. Francis Dr. to Arrowhead Dr.

  • Greene Ave.- Libal St. to East River Dr.

  • Regina St. – Simonet St. to Greene Ave.

Project Scope
In general, the street reconstruction work includes:

  • Topographic survey of street and underground utilities.

  • Underground work will include the removal and replacement of the watermain.

  • Sanitary sewer and storm sewer will be televised by the Village to determine existing pipe. conditions and the scope of the sewer improvements.

  • Installation of new storm laterals and replacement of the existing water and sanitary sewer laterals from the main to the property line.

  • Voluntary replacement of private side sanitary sewer laterals.

  • Placement of new concrete curb & gutter and driveway aprons to the property line.

  • Removal of and placement of new asphalt pavement.

  • Evaluation and in some cases construction of new sidewalk.

Public Informational Meeting
At the completion of the preliminary plans in February of this year, an in-person open house meeting, with plans on display, will be provided.  The remainder of the meeting will follow an informal, open-house format allowing time to review plans and discuss any questions and/or concerns with project representatives.

A letter sent directly to those impacted by the project along with Village wide postings will provide the date and time of the future meeting.

Special Assessments
In accordance with the Village Code, the cost to install a new lateral is assessable to the benefited property owner. As a part of the project, any property that currently does not have a storm sewer lateral will be provided one to the property line. The replacement of existing laterals from the main to the street right-of-way (property line) is not assessed by the Village. There are no other assessable street improvements associated with the project.

Schedule
Weather dependent, construction is anticipated to begin as soon as May and be completed no later than the middle to end of October.

2025 Sanitary Sewer Lining Projects

To address failing sewer pipes and reduce clearwater intrusion into the Village’s collection system, staff is proposing the Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining of the following sanitary sewers:

  • St. Francis Dr. – Langlade Rd. to S. Webster Ave.

  • Crescent Dr. – St. Francis Dr. towards Arrowhead Dr.

  • Greene Ave. Sanitary Sewer Easement – Behind Libal St. Mall

  • Regina St. – Simonet St. towards Greene Ave.

  • E. Ledgeview St. – S. Webster Ave. to S. Clay St.

  • Gwynn St. – S. Clay St. to Delahaut St.

  • Longview Ave. – Ulmcrest Ct. to East River Dr.

  • Riverside Dr. – Spot Repair near Stambaugh Rd.

Schedule
Weather dependent, the lining work is anticipated to begin as soon as March and be completed no later than the middle to end of July.
