Election reminders during Libal Street Construction Project
(Voting options and ways to access voting locations)

Ahead of the partisan primary election on Tuesday, August 13, the Village of Allouez is reminding residents of their voting options prior to and on Election Day throughout the Libal Street Improvement Construction Project. A map of the detour route is attached.

Voting options for Allouez residents include:

1. Voters may request a mailed absentee ballot now through Thursday, August 8th by 5:00 p.m. through MyVote.WI.gov or complete an absentee application and mail it to the Clerk’s office.
2. Early in-person absentee voting at the Allouez Village Hall, 1900 Libal Street, on the following dates and times:

      • July 30th through August 1st, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
      • August 2nd, 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
      • August 5th through August 7th, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
      • August 8th and August 9th, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

3. Voting on Election Day, Tuesday, August 13th. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Residents can find their polling location by visiting MyVote.WI.gov or contacting the Clerk’s Office at (920) 448-2800.

Access to the Allouez Village Hall will remain open for both early in-person absentee voting and Election Day voting. We ask residents to use either the signed detour route on Webster Ave. or Beaupre St. to Libal St. to get to the Village Hall. If your polling location is at the Green Isle Park Pavilion, use East River Drive to access.

Work on the Libal Street Improvement Project, between WIS 172 and Kalb Ave., began this spring and will be completed in early October. While the road is closed to thru traffic for the safety of the public and the construction crew, access is maintained for property owners and businesses within the corridor and for emergency vehicles. The roundabout at Libal St. and Allouez Ave. is not part of the project and will remain open throughout the duration of the project.
