INFORMATIONAL NOTICE

Petitions have been received from Mach IV Engineering and Surveying requesting a Site Plan Review, Zoning Map Amendment, and Design Exception Request for a parking lot addition located at 3110 Stanton Court (Parcel AL-1211-A-600). These requests are being made as a part of the same proposed project. They may be acted on separately.

1. Site Plan Review is a process that requires Plan Commission review and Village Board approval and determines whether proposed plans comply with applicable regulations of the Village.

2. Zoning Map Amendments are legislative decisions of the Village Board based on consistency with the Comprehensive Plan and promotion of the public health, safety, and general welfare. The Plan Commission provides a recommendation to the Village Board. The Village Board makes the final determination.

3. Design Exception Request may grant relief from strict compliance with the regulations when specific site features or characteristics create conditions that make strict compliance with applicable regulations impractical or undesirable. The Plan Commission provides a recommendation to the Village Board. The Village Board makes the final determination.
The item being requested includes:
– A request to exceed the side yard parking requirements by two rows of parking. The ordinance limits side yard parking to two rows of parking. The proposed plans show four rows of parking (two rows existing).

These requests will be the subject of a PLAN COMMISSION MEETING to be held on MONDAY, JULY 22, 2024 AT 6:00 P.M. AT THE ALLOUEZ VILLAGE HALL, 1900 LIBAL STREET.

The Plan Commission is advisory to the Village Board, therefore, the meeting to review the above petitions on July 22nd is not a hearing. The recommendations from the Plan Commission will be received by the Village Board and a public hearing will be scheduled no earlier than TUESDAY, AUGUST 20, 2024 AT 6:30P.M. AT THE ALLOUEZ VILLAGE HALL, 1900 LIBAL STREET. The Village Board may make a final decision on whether or not to approve the requests at this meeting. As a neighbor, your input and comments are welcomed on this project.

Please call Trevor Fuller, Director of Planning and Community Development, with any questions about the proposed project or the process, 920-448-2800, ext. 134.

Dated this 17th day of July, 2024.
